Safeguarding Lead (DSL) Training

This training was highly valued, with participants praising the clarity and relevance of the content. It enhanced their understanding of the critical role of the Safeguarding Lead in overseeing safeguarding practices and compliance. Participants now feel more confident in managing and leading safeguarding efforts across their teams, ensuring they are equipped to lead safeguarding initiatives with competence and assurance.

Child Exploitation Training

100% of participants agreed that the content was highly relevant to their roles. This training deepened staff understanding of the dynamics of child exploitation and enhanced their ability to identify exploitation risks early. The practical guidance provided has significantly improved how the team responds to exploitation concerns.

Young People Who Go Missing from Care Training

100% positive feedback confirmed the session’s effectiveness, with participants gaining confidence in the procedures for handling incidents where young people go missing. The Philomena Protocol was explained clearly, and practical scenarios helped staff feel prepared to manage these critical situations effectively.

Self-Harm and Suicide Awareness Training

87.5% of participants felt more confident in managing sensitive situations, particularly with regards to ligature training and crisis management. Leanne’s expertise and practical examples provided staff with the tools needed to respond effectively to high-risk situations. Participants now feel better prepared to support young people in crisis with care and professionalism.

Safer Caring and Professional Boundaries Training

93% of participants reported increased confidence in adhering to safeguarding policies and maintaining professional boundaries. The session allowed staff to reflect on their practices, discuss ethical issues, and gain insights into how to navigate professional relationships while providing high-quality care. This training has strengthened ethical standards and professional conduct across all levels of the team.

Safeguarding Children Training

With a 94% satisfaction rate and 61% of participants rating themselves as "very satisfied", this session equipped staff with the skills to better identify abuse indicators and handle disclosures. Participants appreciated Leanne’s clear explanations of safeguarding laws and guidelines, which were instrumental in improving the team’s proactive approach to child protection.

Recognising Peer-on-Peer Abuse

93.75% of participants reported feeling "very confident" in applying what they learned. The session focused on preventing and addressing peer-on-peer abuse, providing participants with practical strategies for creating safer environments for young people. The interactive approach, which included real-life case studies, ensured the team felt well-prepared to handle challenging situations.

Supporting Young People to Be Safe Online Training

93.75% of participants rated Leanne as "very effective", with 75% of attendees giving the session an "excellent" rating. This training enhanced the team's ability to address online safety issues such as cyberbullying, grooming, and social media risks, empowering staff to take a proactive approach to protecting young people in the digital world.

Safer Recruitment Training
