This Fire Safety training session is designed to equip delegates with the essential knowledge and practical skills to prevent, respond to, and manage fire risks effectively in both the workplace and at home. The course begins with an overview of fire theory, including relevant legislation, the fire triangle, how fires start and spread, and then progresses into practical human responses such as prevention, evacuation procedures, and safe firefighting techniques. Real-life scenarios are examined to enhance understanding and promote risk awareness. A significant practical component involves demonstrations and hands-on use of fire extinguishers, fire blankets, and fire safety equipment checks, helping delegates gain confidence in applying what they have learned.
The aim of this training is to develop delegates’ awareness and competence in fire safety by increasing their understanding of fire risks, prevention measures, and emergency procedures. The course ensures that participants are well-prepared to act swiftly and safely in the event of a fire, both at work and at home, thereby protecting lives and reducing harm.

Demonstrate knowledge of different types of fire extinguishers and select and use them safely and effectively.
Appreciate how their actions can prevent injury and potentially save lives, including their own.
