This training provides practitioners with the knowledge, confidence, and practical tools to recognise, understand, and respond safely to sexualised behaviours in children and young people. It explores the continuum of sexual behaviours, from healthy and developmentally appropriate to concerning or harmful, through the lens of child development, trauma, attachment, and neurodiversity. The session links theory to practice by drawing on real-world scenarios and national safeguarding frameworks, equipping participants to manage disclosures, assess risk, and implement effective safety planning. Participants will also develop confidence in promoting healthy relationships, consent, and safe boundaries, while knowing when and how to access specialist advice and therapeutic support.
