Participants will gain valuable insights and strategies to effectively fulfil their role in ensuring the welfare and protection of children & young people in residential settings.
This training aims to enhance participants' understanding of the pivotal role safeguarding leaders play in supporting looked after children. It will focus on their responsibilities in ensuring the safety and well-being of children in care, including the development and implementation of safeguarding policies. Participants will learn how safeguarding leaders guide staff in identifying risks, foster a culture of vigilance, and work effectively with external agencies to address concerns.
