Head of Safeguarding and Training

Leanne is a safeguarding and training specialist with a strong background in the childcare sector. She has held senior leadership roles in children’s homes and supported accommodation services, including Registered Manager, Operations Manager, and Head of Safeguarding and Training. This gives her firsthand expertise in delivering safe, compliant, and effective care for children and young people.

Leanne has been instrumental in developing and implementing safeguarding training, policies, and procedures across the sector, ensuring best practices are embedded at every level. She delivers comprehensive training programmes that equip teams with the knowledge and skills to uphold the highest safeguarding standards.

With extensive experience embedding safeguarding practices into organisations, Leanne has successfully developed frameworks that address key issues such as exploitation, online safety, and self-harm prevention. She is passionate about supporting providers to create strong safeguarding cultures that are proactive, robust, and child focused.

Committed to continuous learning and professional development, Leanne promotes the safety and wellbeing of children and young people by equipping teams with the skills and confidence to manage complex safeguarding challenges.
